A Practice Built on Genuine Connection
At OBP, we believe you deserve a therapy approach as unique as you are. Our team of registered psychologists is here to walk with you on your journey, whether that means meeting in one of our offices in Airdrie, Cochrane, or Calgary, stepping outside for a Walk and Talk session on a local trail, or connecting virtually from wherever life has you right now. Inside or outside, you always have a choice.

Why Choose Us for Your Healing Journey

At OBP, we meet you where you are, literally and figuratively. Whether that's a cozy office inside Nauton Place in downtown Airdrie, a bright and welcoming space in Southeast Calgary, or a trail in the foothills of Cochrane, our spaces are intentionally designed (or chosen by nature) to help your nervous system settle so the real work can begin.
We're not a one-size-fits-all practice. We never have been. If you want to walk and talk, we'll walk. If you need to go deep on trauma with evidence-based approaches like EMDR, we're trained for that. If you'd rather stay in your own living room and do sessions online, done. You get to help shape what this looks like.
We also believe in something that might sound obvious but isn't always practised: if you start working with one of our psychologists and it doesn't feel like the right fit, we'll help you find someone within our team who is. No awkwardness, no hurt feelings. We want this to work for you.

Connect In A Way That Feels Right
We offer a 10-minute call, email exchange, or direct booking, whichever feels best. This first step is about finding the right fit, with no pressure to continue if it doesn't feel aligned.
How It Works

To book your own appointment online at our Airdrie, Cochrane, or Calgary office, visit our online scheduler HERE.

To get started via an email exchange or 10-minute phone call, fill out our contact form.

You can choose if you want your sessions to be in-office, online, or outdoors.
In your first session, we’ll get to know who you are and what matters most to you. Together, we’ll co-create a plan that supports your goals, using tools and approaches that feel meaningful and effective.

At OBP, we know that reaching out takes courage.

We've worked with hundreds of people across Alberta who came to us feeling stuck, burned out, disconnected, or like the things that used to hold them together just weren't working anymore.
Through trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and evidence-based approaches, we've helped people reconnect with themselves, strengthen their relationships, and find a new way forward. One that actually fits who they are.
You don't have to have it figured out before you connect. You just have to take the first step.
With gratitude and recognition, we practice on the lands of Treaty 7 territory. We acknowledge this land as the traditional home of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai, the Tsuut’ina Nation and Stoney-Nakoda Nations, including the Wesley, Chiniki, and Bearspaw, and the People of Métis Nation of Alberta, District 4.
~Each month OBP donates to the Moose Hide Campaign - a small but ongoing act of land tax and reparations.
